Mine seems pretty tapped out. What size motor do you have ? How about what cam specs and cylinder heads you and your friends are running ?

LSX block, 4.125x4" 427. Pat G speced cam, 230/246 .650/.650 116+3 I recall off memory. PRC 285 ls7 heads on mine.

Friends is a stock ls3 block 376ci with forged rods/pistons. Cam is bigger but I'm not sure, and PRC 265 6 bolt ls3 heads.

I would love to see how these cars do on the DynoJet to compare results with the DynaPack.

On 800rwhp the local dynojet is ~5hp off this dyno. On 900+ they just spin tires on the dynojet because rollers are worn/etc. Everything that doesn't spin is pretty much spot on so I'm not really concerned with dynojet numbers.

I love how you can load up the Dynapack. Great tuning tool ! Seems everyone is cracking 1000rwhp with YSi these days. You need a Novi 2500 to keep up with this bad boy

I heard Novi 2500 are discontinued or something, can't buy them new anymore.

Ysi will make 1100 pushed hard enough. If you are only on a 2.95/8" drop down to a 2.75". Plus your power is still going up, why not rev higher?

We just use the dynojet as a tuning tool. I don't believe it loads the car enough to show the true power potential up top. She demands much more fuel on the street, especially 7-8K RPM.

I actually have a 2.7 pully sitting in the box, but I am afraid to touch anything because my belt alignment is so perfect. I have been beating this bitch up for 2 seasons on the same belt without skipping a beat. Figured I would try out 100 shot instead.

With a direct drive and just swapping the blower pulley alignment shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure the new and old pulley have the same offset before putting it on. I'm going to do the 10 rib because the 2.75 8 rib slips up top but odds are I'll put a 2.75 on, make some power then put a 3.0 or something to turn it down. 1000+ on the street on hooks so well.

Yes I'm sure you are right, I was just looking for an excuse to put spray on the car

I have a 2.7 pulley sitting in my tool box ready to rock. I may try it out once I put a fresh belt on for the up coming season.

I forgot and should probably change that. That was with the converter unlocked. When I realized and locked it it made 725. Both on dynapak..
