Program PCM on the bench?

Program PCM on the bench?
Might not be the correct section, but I'll start here.
I've completed my harness, so now have good familiarity with the pinouts.
I'd like to fire up the PCM on the bench, read the tune so I can begin the task of creating the tune for the turbo setup.
PCM is from a 99 Camaro.
My engine is a 5.3. I have HPT
What needs to be connected to do this besides power, gnd, and the serial data (DLC)?

I am interested to learn how to do initial set up for 2 or 3bar. I have SD HPT as well. I have a 400inch LS in a jet boat. I ran it NA last season and can tweak tunes on HPT for NA. I recently added a S480 and need to learn 2 or 3 bar SD tune.
If you could share some info I would greatly appreciate it.

You probably already knew that but wanted to give you a heads up if that happens to you.

Double A.
The book "Master EFI Tuner GM EFI" by Dan Malsic has 2 pretty good examples for setting up 2 bar boost programs.
One is for HPT the other EFI Live.
I bought all sorts of books on tuning.
The Tuning School
The Ultimate GM EFI Tuning Guide and another I can't remember.
The one above outlines this the best.

This looks really cool. If you had to spend a ton of time getting your tune in order you could realistically do it in the lazy boy in front of the tv. Nice for sure. If i can get enough time from work i am gonna give this a shot. I am ready to install my 80lb injectors and have been kinda worried about what i am gonna do about a tune. Turbo has to go into place too as well as the 4L80E. So this could be good timing for me. Thanks Ron and everyone else.
