Which air filters did you use, and any difference with/without ?

I can see space is very tight down there....similar problem to I'll be having with my own

We didn't try it without the filters. I know we've seen quicker spool times without the filters.

I went from 907whp to 930whp just from taking the K&N filter off on my car

yes, but what size was the filter ? Where you heavily restricted for space for a decent sized filter ?

It was the only filter i could find that had a 5" inlet

Yes, but what size ?

diameter ? straight ? tapered ? height ?

K&N do offer a good few with 5" inlet, or you could opt for 6" and use an adapter. There are loads of filters with a 6" opening.

I really only have room for about a 4-4.5" tall filter

Might end up with something like this, all far smaller than I'd like, but I just have no room, and there isnt a hope in hell I'll be running without a filter.

Steve, is there no room to run piping to the front of the car and then mount filter there?
