Looking for a large intercooler. 5" or larger core. As the titles states. Who has one? Or does anyone know a place that can get me one fast. It has to be A2A do not want to run an A2W.

yeah custom core would be your best bet. Garrett do a 5.1 inch thick core that supports about 1300bhp i think. Shearer has done 6 inch cores i think using 2 x 3 inch Garrett cores.
One question would be dose the core really have to be that thick? the thicker the core the harder it is to get air to pass through the core, thus reducing the actual cooling. is there no way of going thinner but with more frontal area?

^^^Good question. I really do not want to go A2W on my intercooler setup. I did use my cheapo CXRacing 4" core with great success, upto 1200whp. But I don't know if my new setup with my larger motor and larger turbo will like that setup too much. But I am not sure.
