Would the Innovate MTX-L work with microsquirt? Would i still gap the 4177s at 24 if i only run 18lbs of boost versus your 24?

Yes most any wideband is supported. Download the software and play with it so you can see how simple it really is to use.

does the microsquirt have a bus output, just curious if it would communicate data through an OBD connector if the pins were in the correct location.. wondering because i have this neat bluetooth thing that syncs with my phone and it would be cool to monitor info with the phone.. eliminates the need for gauges

It does have can bus data lines but I am unsure if it the same as what is needed by the elm327 and torque applications. I have not tried using it that way. Best to ask Matt at diyautotune.

Ok. I havent out the cae back together yet. I was just wondering cause i didnt see anyone using the mtx-l. But soon as the weather gets better, I'll start back on it. Thanks aknovaman. Oh and the 4177s gapped at 24 would be good as a default set up for boost?

The connectors that require 12v source can you have a 12v source from the cars fuse panel to a junction connector where the coils,PCM,injectors,CAS all pickup there power? Sorry if that sounds dumb this is my first real wiring attempt I'm learning as I go

yes you can but i whould use a relay to carry the load . i use a keyed power to trip a heavy relay that has a #10 wire feeding it to power up my micro fuse panel then fuse each wire as needed. works great for me.

The MTX-L will work fine with the Micro. I am running one on the MS2 in my Monte Carlo and it is flawless.

Gotcha so a keyed power wire from fuse panel of car to a relay to another fuse panel that gives power to the previously mentioned 4 connections correct?

yes that way the factory fuse box doesn't have to power the micro . and you don't get low voltage to it as well. you can run a good wire from the battery or starter and use the keyed power to kick the relay on.

that's how mine is . works good.

I run a good power from the starter or battery then use a keyed wire from the car fuse box to activate the relay powering the micro fuse box with the power source from the battery or starter wire.

that way when you turn the key off it turns off the relay cutting power to the micro fuse box killing the engine.
