Default Boost loss and camshafts

For any of you that have installed a camshaft after your supercharge installation, how many lbs of boost did you lose and what were the specs on your cam?

Thanks!

Lingenfelter GT2-3 zero boost loss over stock with my Powerdyne. Specs are:

207/220 .571/.578 118.5

This cam, for anyone who doesn't get Hot Rod, was the cam called out in the twin turbo 427 motor that won the "most streetable crate engine" award. The cam flat out hates timing, though. I was only able to get 10 degrees at peak torque (non-intercooled).

10 degrees?? I have 14-15 right now the stock cam on a on intercooled powerdyne. Dynoed 437 at the rear wheels with the stock cam but want to break 450 with a cam install.

10 degrees at peak tq? Sounds weird.

I'm running a stock 98 ls1 cam now. 200/208 .500 lift and 119.5 LSA.

Your giving up a huge amount of power with only 10' timing. I run 16 peak TQ ramping to 22 by 6000rpm with 13psi peak boost. Works well with 100 octane. Would be to much for 93 though.

I ran a 218/227 112lca hotcam. Dropped about 1.5 psi and car ran no faster with it. Sounded real nice though.

It dynoed fine with 13 at peak torque. On the track, though, it would start knocking so bad half way through third gear that it would start nosing down. I know I was leaving power on the table, but what else could I do? Here is the dyno graph. You can see the step at about 4000 rpm where I started pulling timing, it definitely had more in it if I had an intercooler or even alchy. I am embarassed to admit it, but my best time was a 13.05@116 with an embarassing 2.4 60' time on stock tires. That was with the 10 degree timing. (Notice my time isn't in my sig and I may edit this part out tomorrow).

Powerdyne 450 Pull

I'm putting an incon kit on right now, so I am very interested to see how much timing I will be getting with that. I am hoping to in the 13-14 range at peak torque.
