Really?!? I just assumed you bought the Ebay flanges and mated it to the stock manifolds. So basically you welded the T4 flanges to what was left of the piping before it went back to the cats right?

I didn't make the kit, it's an old KYTP kit that has truck manifold flanges. I'll be making a new kit probably next winter for a2w.

Yes and what ever makes me go 8.50's. If I'm faster I won't be upset either.

Vacuum pump mounted up:

I got the belt installed today. I ordered my plugs and will hopefully be putting them in and getting everything buttoned up within the week.

Well, the vacuum pump didn't work out. So it's off. I got to take the car out today and found a couple of bugs. Speedo doesn't work, some how my fuse holder for one of my derale fans melted, pissing coolant out of the steam vent line, and my belt wasn't tight enough. I got the idle afr spot on, cruise afr spot on and started working on some part throttle stuff then I found out those things.

The boost came in a bunch quicker and surprised me. This thing is going to be nasty! I got the steam vent line fixed, fuse holder fixed, fixed my belt and I'm not sure why the speedo doesn't work now. Here's how it sits now

Nice so far. Where did you get your boost lines and how are they run? I mean do they run to a vacuum distribution block feeding from the intake?

He did good by sticking with the 205's IMO.

He will be able to make more boost pressure for a given power number which with his 6665's will put them in higher efficiency island.

With the cam I spec'd for him, boost is going to come in stupid fast and pull to 7500rpm(if he wants to take it that high).

Keep the compressor efficient and you will be rewarded with more RPM and more average power potential. A 215cc or a 220cc wouldn't of hurt this combination though IMO.

I'm guessing the motor doesn't have the right rings. I had the regulator set at the lowest setting and it was shitting oil out the downpipes. There is very little blowby with the motor.

The quick light throttle ~30% throttle I did on the highway when the weather wasn't crap was night and day difference from the two setups. It immediately started pulling and built boost. I'm excited!

They are truck manifolds facing forward

I took it out last week and it's night and day difference. I went from idle to WOT, 17.5lbs in 2.02 seconds. Hopefully going to the track tomorrow if I can get a baby sitter for the kids.

I finally made a few passes with the car on the new setup. The first two passes were on the wastegates 7-8lbs and went a 7.0 and 6.9 short shifting big time @ 5,000rpm's. Made a third pass and went 6.63@106mph out of the throttle most of the pass. Track was **** due to it being hertford on a non Saturday. Here's a screen shot in hp tuners of the 6.6 pass. You can see/hear in the video half track 100% throttle. I'm going to see what happens on this setting and slowly crank it up.

Hopefully I'll have a video up shortly. I'll be at it again hopefully this Saturday most likely at Richmond.

Anxious for you to get it ironed out. It's really looking like it's going to be a strong performer.

made it out to a tnt last night. I only got two runs since every other car was breaking down. On the second attempt, I was in the staging lanes for an hour and a half. It was ridiculous.

1st pass: left off the brake with 5lbs, 10lbs on the run, the sun was directly in my face so I didn't know if I would be able to see the shift light or not so I shifted early at 6000rpm on all gears

1.45 60', 6.44@108.5 mph, 1/4 was 10.07@134mph.

2nd pass: left of the brake with 6lbs, 13-14lbs on the run, left and felt like it spun, I pedaled and short shifted at 5400rpms, and WOT the rest of the run.

1.44 60', 6.34@113.39 mph, 1/49.804@141.82 mph.

The afr's on the second pass were off in the mid and upper rpms due to having more boost, but not too bad. I'm going to get a bump box so I can build more boost off of the line or try wiring up the 3 step deal and see how that does. Because I'm only on the brake for 1.8 seconds and it's killing the 60ft.

Videos up shortly
