Walbro 416

Hi, guys. This is my first post here although I have been lurking for a while now. I am new to the turbo world and looking for some fuel pump information. My project car is in my signature and I am having a Turbonetics 7875 installed. I am only looking to run about 10lbs of boost for around 550-600 rwhp. It currently has a Walbro 255lph pump installed which I don't believe will support my goal. Anyone have experience running the Walbro 416? I have searched all over the site and have yet to find anyone running that pump.

I'm running a Walbro 400 (416); silent compared to the 255. I suggest you hardwire the pump (if you haven't already done so with your 255). I'm using 10 gauge wire from the battery to a new relay as well as directly from the relay to the pump (using the factory fuel pump wire as a trigger for the relay).

Hey, thanks for the reply. My 255 is already hard wired with 10 gauge. Any problem with it supporting your horsepower level?

The limiting factor in my case was the clutch. I could have gone higher (probably closer to 650whp) with the Walbro 400 (on E85) with a better (clutch) disc.
