I commend you on trying something different, I hope it pays off for you in the end.
Any idea on CFM output of the head unit? From what I could see, it's comparable to a P1SC, maybe even a little smaller. Be very careful with how much boost you make with no intercooler. Are you planning to run e85?

P1SC's have made north of 650-700 I think. Most people don't push them that hard, because once they get the itch for more power than the intiall 500-600, they usually start shopping for D1's or F1's. It's like D1 guys, once you push it to max rpm, and hit 800+ hp, they start looking to upgrade to an F-series.

I just don't get the point of running it, it's not that much cheaper than running a P1SC, and I'd feel more comfortable pushing a Procharger harder than that unit since I could intercool it. Between the location of the filter inlet, and the rise of temps from compressing the blower, I don't see how you could safely run more than 6-7psi with it, which is around an additional 100-125hp. That's not much power from $3000.
Again, just my opinion.

Well, how much power should u get for $2850? How much more is a p1sc? I can run an Inlet wherever I want right?
E-85 only if I need too. And #8 is all I want. I dont want to be doing yearly engine and transmission work like I was with the GTO. This system will do 500 hp and that is probably where I should stop with an otherwise stock ls1.
ive never had a supercharger. Id like to try one before I kick the bucket.
Less work, less money, more power than heads cam Intake. stock drivability. And I miss the spool and bov sounds of the gto. I expect much more bov action since the compressor is pumping all the time. Not just at full throttle like a turbo.

Ah. Ive never seen 1. I really like the location and inlet ducting. How much were those. Got a shot of the drive? What looks like a hyd fitting on the front of the case? That looks easier install. Ive heard that vortec has pulled there f body line?
Im gonna use my old 2 bar map and 60# siemans off the gto. Whats the bracket that holds our rad and air filter called and where do I get a new one thatll pull the rad forward an inch?

These are the best pictures I have. It came with a 8 rib pulley setup. RMCR is the only company that still produces Vortech equipment for 4th gens.

I put the crank pulley on last weekend. No problem to drill/pin the crank but it requires a 90 degree air drill. I put my 60# SD injectors in Monday and have been tuning them in this week. I took the ABS loose today and it's just hangin there for now. Starting to mock up the head unit. I don't know what I gonna do about the radiator hose. Other guy pulled it up against the shroud. I have a power steering cooler in my way. Ideas?

It was a pita to find brake lines today. Went to oreillys and advance auto, nothing. Napa only had 4mm metric to 3/16 sae adapters for the small line. Autozone only had the 6mm. Needed 24" and 20 and 30 is what they come in. Damn. Got them installed today though.
To make room for the blower belt I disconnect and rerouted the ac suction line and the + battery cable.
Radiator hose tommorow. I hope theres room for it. Its tight. I will probably try to find a radiator hold down that'll pull it forward a bit like the ati piece.

Then that lets you run a 100% rubber hose of whatever size/type you want which could help with clearance.

Alright. I ditched the cooler and removed the fans to rasp the ribs down and drill holes for zip ties. Clearance looks really good now. Supercharger will be mounted tomorrow. Got 3 more belts coming also. I hope one of these fit. Damn things are $50 and ive got 6 now. Pictures coming

This gives plenty of clearance. Didn't move the radiator. My new brake lines are the green line and the other that isn't braided

running/boosting
I got the pressure side tubing done today and went for its first test drive.
WOW! I LOVE BOOST.
Its been 10 months since the gto's been gone. I'd forgotten how much fun it was.
I am having a tune problem I could use help with. MAP wont read above 105. I have a 2 bar os. The map "range" is set from 15 to 200 kpa. I'm using the cobalt baro sensor I got off my GTO. MAF fail is set to 0 hz. I have good values in the boost portion of my ve table. The pcm just wont access them
