408 forged LS3 Magnuson FI question
I've been considering going FI on my 408 iron forged, LS3 CNC heads, SS valves, head studs, cometic gaskets...etc but have 11:2 CR. My cam is 114 LSA so it could be ok.
Point is I'm not a racer, just a street guy (not street racer) maybe a pass or two. Not looking for 1000hp or max HP.
What is important is clean look with a roots blower, easy install...maybe 700rhp.
That said, is my engine ok for a reasonable 7-10psi with 93octain? I think factory LS3s have 11:2cr.
What kind of HP range is that?
I realize, my current trans 6spd, clutch and rear will not hold, but am I looking at running 2 fuel lines, dual pumps too? I have the 255racetronics in tank pump and 04 cobra 50lbs injectors now.
Right now I figure 10-12k just in mods needed, maybe a bit more since I'd like a six auto. Not sure there yet. Just trying to get more of a feel.
