Turbo street cars inside please

haha, yes he has a Chevy 2500 crew cab short bed duramax... It has 35" tires, and a 3" body lift.. Has EGR delete, CAI, and a full turbo back exhaust, and a custom tune..
He averages between 22-26 on the highway... That's not uncommon at all...
Heck my F350, long bed, crew cab, dually, 4.30 gear, Powerstroke get's 18 on the highway.

Yeah diesels are a bit of a different beast to say the least.
As far as gas mileage on turbo street cars go that all depends on the rear gear, transmission, lockup, tire size, etc. It's very possible to keep it near stock mileage on the freeway and about the only thing you can be guaranteed is that it's not going to be better than stock unless it's been stripped and weighs 2800 lbs. LOL

I daily the car in my Sig. Full weight still has A/C etc. Put down 635rwhp. Babying it around I've averaged 18 mixed with half city and minimal screwing around. I have a heavy foot though so I'm usually around 14-15. Tune is pretty rich.. hoping mileage goes up a little after my retune.

I daily my chevelle and I get right at 20mpg on E85 if I drive somewhat normal and about 15-17 if I rape the car. I will take that any day of the week. I am around 900rwhp using a calculator. lol 3720lbs, PG, 3.42's, 30" tall tire.

My 86 rx-7 (turbo buick 3.8 v6) on E85 I would see around 30 at 65 on the highway. 2.73 gear , 200-4r trans with lock up converter. Ran 10.50’s. Swapped in a glide and 3.08s and ran a 10 flat. Still over 20 highway with a 28” tire.
Current E85 8.6:1 5.3 79 rx-7 would get about 23mpg at 65.h 29” tire and 3.10 gears/glide/pretty tight 9.5” PTC conv. Mostly ran low 9's, did squeak out an 8 at the end of the year. Guessing the 10:1 motor in it now would do slightly better. I’m sure pump gas would give another 3-5mpg easy.
