Default PLX Boost Gauge as MAP sensor?

So right now my car is running under a 3 bar OS, and decently well. I've got some gauges coming in now (PLX fuel pressure, boost/vac, and wideband O2) and they all have 0-5v outputs. I'm already going to be wiring the wideband module into the car for datalogging, but I got to thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to wire the boost gauge into the car instead of the regular 3 bar MAP sensor too. Has anyone done this before?

I feel like having the gauge and the PCM read from the exact same sensor would be much easier to synchronize.

Yes you can do this, but in reality there is no real benefit from doing so either.

You'd be best to tie the sensor ground from the PLX and your ECU together, just to make sure there are no ground offsets which would skew readings

Although sometimes doing this with separate devices can annoy them
