Default Twin turbo sizes

What's the best sizes for twin turbos for a 5.3 street truck? Or would a big single be better?

Depends on what you're doing with it.

Tell us a little more about what your looking to get out of you 5.3 and what mods you are planning to do to the motor. With this info we can make some suggestions.

I'm looking to make at the least 500rwhp but would like around 650-700rwhp. It's gonna be a daily driver. I plan on putting a cam, heads, head studs, rod pins, intake, inter cooler, 80#injectors, twin fuel pumps, and water/meth injection. It'll be going in a early 2000's s10. A better manual transmission. Most likely with a 4l60e tranny and a 12 bolt rear. Possibly going to spray it also but not until it's together and running good.

I don't know why I put a 4l60e. It was in my mind at the moment. I'm actually going to be putting a tremac t-5, tremac t-56, or a tremac tr-6060

A pair of T3/T4 hybrid turbos will do the trick and not break a sweat doing it.
A stage 3 turbine wheel with a .63 A/R and a 57 trim compressor wheel will easily
make 800 HP and spool lightning fast on your 5.3.

If you mod your motor with cam and heads and you want to turn 6k+ RPM
You can run a stage 5 turbine and a .82A/R on the exhaust side of the turbo.

Or you can run a pair of GT35's and they are good for 900+ HP

Hope this helps you get started.

AGP offer this sort of thing for their lower kits and might just get you there with very fast spool

Or slightly bigger

And discussion here with some dyno graphs etc

Thank you guys. Still looking and exploring my options to make sure I make the best decision so any other input you have before I put it all together I'd be more than happy to hear it. And that's goes for everything not just the turbo setup
