Default Fan replacement for those with a Griffin radiator

So you just got your Turbo setup finished and your engine coolant temps are rising at stoplights? Don't want to spend big $$$ for a set of fans that are going to fail within a year or two? Looking for an OEM replacement made by OEM? Heres your answer...

What is it you ask? Its a set of fans from a 2010 Saab 9-3 Turbo with a manual transmission. Now you ask how much would a set of fans like this cost? A whole whopping $50 plus the $5.00 fee to walk in the yard. These fans should come off a 2003-2010 Saab 9-3 turbo 2.0 4 cylinder with a manual transmission.

Now for the technical details...The main cooling fan uses a 40 amp fuse and the secondary cooling fan uses a 30 amp fuse. Total CFM is 3500.

How thick is it? From mounting surface to the back of the motor its 3.5" Dimensions are 16.25 tall and 25.5 wide. All you gotta do to this is trim out around the inlet and outlet of your radiator a little bit, go to your local parts store or hit up a salvage and grab some rubber that seals around the door jam, and mount it....Thats it...Kiss your over heating problems goodbye and save yourself some serious $$$ on a pre-fab fan kit that you still have to figure out a way to mount and probably have to replace in 2 years or less. Not only that but most fan manufactures inflate their CFM #s tremendously.

Enjoy..

Stephen
