Default 05 GTO single turbo build LS2/M6 TC78

This is my daily driver 2005 GTO. It has a stock LS2/M6 with 96k miles on it currently. I have had this thing for 7yrs and have talked about turboing it for a long time. Finally broke down and started it. The whole plan is to only have the car down for 1 week during the build. I have most of the parts from another build that is getting upgraded.

Its gonna be a pretty simple manifold build with a goal of 500whp on 91 pump gas.

Goal is to relocate as little things as possible and be able to put it back to stock for smog purposes every 2yrs. A/c and cooling system will be untouched.

Specs:
Stock LS2
TC78 .96 a/r
60lb resized LS2 injectors
drop in fuel pump
44mm Tial wastegate dumped to the atmostphere
50mm RPS BOV
2bar OS tune by me
3" down pipe connected to my SLP catback
all other drivetrain parts are stock from the factory
Battery in the trunk

Build started on 02/24. Pretty much rained on me everyday so far.

mod to the frame to clear downpipe, just bend down the pinch

and the weather conditions of my shop... AKA driveway and garage.

The hot side is the stock GTO passenger manifold with a 2" stainless crossover, passenger side truck manifold on the drivers side and sch10 stainless merge. The colded side is 3" aluminum. Everything is TIG welded my me in my garage. Im not the best but it works.

Things left to do...
Swap injectors
Wire in IAT sensor and put in 2bar map
oil feed and drain for the turbo
turbo to intercooler piping
wastegate and bov lines
wire in wideband and boost controller
connect downpipe to catback

Finished it up yesterday. Still need to hook up a boost controller though and finish my new gauge pod. Drove it for work 100miles today. The exhaust is as loud as it was before but with a different tone.

When im off next monday ill hook up a boost guage and mod the radiator cover to go on. Also ordering up a turbo blanket today for it.
