Compression test
Leak that bitch
Start there.
then turn the boost down till your IAT's is reasonable, turn off the meth.
make another pull with meth on, it will show you your loss from the meth.
Those IAT's seem real high for that boost

Try what he said ^^^^

I also think you are possibly blowing through your converter

So when you turn the boost down, keep bumping the boost up and see if you can find out at what point it starts blowing through the converter.

Take it off just your testing purposes. You can always get a.cutout if the muffler is the issue

Where would be the best place for a IAT sensor? In the intake tube before the throttle body, or in the snout of the manifold? Maybe his intake temps READ high because of possible incorrect sensor placement?

Iats are completely turned off in the tune, that would be irrelevant. 130s is not high for a non intercooled setup. Use the search function.

id do a true deadstop tdc and make sure your 18 degrees is correct. but I think the convertor is hurting the most.

How does it run at the track, it points to tranny/converter. Did u try to luck the converter? Do u have a log of engine rpm vs wheel speed.

its got a th350, so I dont belive he can lock the converter, but honestly if its really a stock th350 its likely something in the trans or that cheap converter.. keep us posted on what you find though. 430 RWHP is a lot for a stock trans cheap converter.

Log the car on the street to really load it well and if it sits on the limiter and there is no wheel speed to correlate with the high rpm then its trans/converter, that's where my money would be if I were a betting man. I wouldn't take the meth off, leave it on especially if you have no intercooler.

It's on a load bearing dyno. There is no point of putting it on the street, it just spins the tires. The mph on the dyno is definitely pointing toward converter or tranny slippage.

Yes I agree...those converters are junk and if you read into how they are made...its a converter for a 4 cylinder engine that has a flange welded on to bolt to an LS flywheel. Get yourself a vigilante converter and do another pull....Also...How old is that stock tranny? If the bands are worn it will also create issues... But I'm serious on those converters...you get what you pay for and that one is JUNK.

THat is only 8% slip. while your converter and trans are junk that is not that bad. What spark plugs and what gap. are you sure the wires are okay? do the logs show the timing as camanded?

Brand new tr6 @. 030, brand new wires, engine has been smoke and pressure tested, zero leaks anywhere. It's a fresh build and I am 100 percent sure there is nothing wrong internally. I runs great and revs fine too. It makes great power until around 3500 then levels off. On a different dyno it showed 142 mph. The gear calculator says it should be around 121, the car is going 112. The only change was a converter. From a bone stock unit to this summit one. I have a fti for my new tyranny but do not have the funds for the tranny yet.

Try tightnening the gap to .020 just to make sure it is not blowing the spak out.

Do a comp test, I've seen cams ground wrong and cause some major issues such as this.

I would check the Top Dead Center of the cam to make sure you didnt put the cam in a tooth off when putting the timing chain on.

Check the obvious stuff first...sounds like you have one simple stupid thing wrong
