how old is the sts kit? some of the first ones had the gate on the gate bypass pipe come up into the exhaust from underneath. Well that eventually less all the dirty water and carbon drain down into the gate until it eventually freezes up. Also the done have any PCV their electronic solenoid they provide turns any ventilation off. (Is your dipstick tube blown out from boosting the crank case?). Not sure is boosting your crack case would make you blow a head gasket, but I imagine it could. Good Luck. You should look up PCV routing using a catch can. Theres about a million of post.
