Default Dominator fuel pressure question

What are you guys doing to communicate the fuel pressure to the ecu? I see the sensor you can buy for $115 and was curious what you guys are using. Is there a cheaper option that doesn't suck? Does this use up a output function or is it built into the harness

It's built into the harness. In the engine settings table you tell the ecu what your fuel pressure is, and what pressure the injectors run at. If you're going to run a sensor I'd just bite the bullet and buy the holley.

Also in the same boat with the Holley EFI Hp, so I am assuming using the FP sensor is not mandatory?

It appears that way but it makes no sense to me to spend all that money on a motor etc. and not take the appropriate steps to protect it.

I've used both a transducer from Holley and one from Autometer and they both worked fine. Also I currently have the signal split between the Dominator box and the Autometer FP gauge.

I have an extra Autometer transducer I'll sell to you so that you can save some money. PM me if you are interested.

Thanks guys I'm glad to hear you can run one off of the aftermarket FPR and the split signal idea is money.

FWIW, those transducers can be had for around $75 if you find a holley vendor to hook you up

I was told by another member here that this ebay sender works with Holley's EFI.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pressure-transducer-sender-100-psi-stainless-steel-oil-fuel-air-water-/261260635816?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item3cd458eea8
I bought 2 of them, but I have not tested them yet. My dominator setup will be installed hopefully in 2-3 weeks.
