I havent ran a filter in the last three years and not planning on it with my new build.

Yes, car is a pure street car and I am too poor to risk my turbo to gain some HP when I could just add another pound or two.

Oh, also, a filter on a turbo causes more strain on the thrust bearing because the compressor is in essence, trying to pull itself out of the compressor housing because of the vacuum created by the filter.

You have hot air blowing through your radiator into your filter, I would relocate it. A straight 4" -5" pipe won't hurt that much

Adding pipe will just change the distance but the vacuum seen by comp wheel will still be the same. No?

Ok, I will look under the car and see what I can fit. Where does the line get drawn as to how much pipe between filter and turbo become a detriment?
