high compression and boost A 408 with ported ls3 heads, cam, and intake, with a wet 150 shot, on 93 pump
The compression ratio is 11:2:1 and I'm planning to switch the fuel system over to an e85 set up. I know high comp. and high boost equals detention without proper set up, but how much boost do yall think I can run on e85 through a 76mm turbo
I know I could run more boost with meth injection, but I don't think I'll run meth until it becomes strictly track car

e85 will work great. as to "how much boost" who knows. higher octane of the e85 and cooling will help but it's not magical. but for sure it's the ticket for running FI with that much compression (or race gas)
tune conservatively and keep sneaking up the boost until it rattles and back off a bit!! remeber that the street loads the car different than the dyno.
I'm starting to think I should bump up my CR, but I'm just going to ramp up the boost instead!!
