this is my friends car i tuned today on the roller.

1999 4.8L
th400 / ptc converter
ls9 cam / pac 1218s
Microsquirt plug and play
80mm turbo / 2 inch hotside truck manifolds

18# of boost 13* timing pumpgas + meth

Looks like a China 80mm? Looks a bit down for power for 18psi compared to a borg 80mm...

Is that a truck intake manifold under a stock hood? Is this with the stock K-frame, or an aftermarket one? Pretty sweet!

How does the th400 feel compared to the 80e other than the lack of OD?

pretty sure its a 10 inch Tim a ptc spec'd it for the car was the one they sell for around 450

truthfully it was easier at the time than me building motor mounts and it is a lot lighter

and for those of you who are interested here is the complete hotside had very little back pressure was able to make 18 psi on a wastegate spring that was only getting 6 psi without the controller 2 inch merging to 2.5 right before the turbo

Few wraps of header wrap problem solved. Hell those welds look good compared to most ive seen from these guys.

Whats all done to the th400. You think the converter will hold the power for a while?

Welds might have looked nicer if the shielding gas didn't get blown away Haha. there are two videos up on the sloppy fb page. The th400 is a basic built made for max of 800 90 hp with a t brake ane reverse vb
