Default spark plugs?

What spark plugs Do you guys recommend using on a single turbo ls1 with 7-9 lbs of boost? I have read good and bad about the tr6's. I will be ready to start the truck on Friday. Here is a pic of what I have been working on. Started this build 4 years ago with my father and unfortunately not long after he passed away. Took some time off the project after and now I'm finally ready to start it.

Very sorry you lost your dad.
Your truck is very nice. Dad would be proud to see you get it running.

I left the stock iridium in mine for fire up and drive around tuning.

Then switched to the TR6. I'm curious what you have heard bad about them?
I just followed denmah's advice. I'm at 10 psi now still tuning. I'll switch later if need be.

really nice paint color
cant really tell but if you dont have a brace on the turbo and hadnt planned to id do one from the head to the turbine flange. The way you did hotside looks really stong but since it hangs to pass side so much id add brace. Also i think once you get it going a few powder coated parts in black and that same blue would really that hood, powder coating, if your unfamiliar, is super easy and cheap. Gun, powder, battery thing and old oven and your in bussiness.

I didn't plan on putting a brace on it. It feels really secure being the left bank is so short. All the hot side pipes I had ceramic coated black. Under the hood I will put some of the silver heat barrier pad.

I like that choice. I'm not a turbo expert yet, but there are a lot of good reasons to run an extended tip plug.

There are some good discussions over on Yellow Bullet on plugs for turbo work.
