Default Best Budget 1000hp Turbo

My title is a bit far reaching, but in essence I would like some input on the best "Budget" Turbo to put on a 6.0 with goals of 800+ hp.

I have been leaning quite a bit toward the Borg Warner S400 units, but unsure on what MM and AR etc...

I was thinking something like a S400SX-75 1.10 83mm in T6.... Thoughts? Should I be looking bigger wheel on a T4? Smaller wheel on a T6?

The 96mm 1.32 T6 S475 is only $649.

The 83mm 1.10 T6 S476 is $200 more.

Made near 800 on only 16psi with the s475 mentioned above with my ls1 cam only. No numbers on what it put down on 23psi lol. That turbo is the best bang for your buck hands down. If your on a budget. If not so much get the s480.

Auto I would imagine pretty low. My 6 speed was at 15psi at around 3500-3600 and 21psi at 4000. But I'm a little smaller cube 5.7. Auto should do way better than mine did. That's why I'm going auto.

Says who? Please dont make such a dumb statement like that when you have no evidence to back it up. I know many people (including myself) that run big turbo manual cars and enjoy the **** out of them. Lol

Guys speaking from experience if you wanna get any good times on the track go auto. But for a 100% street car leave it manual. I was manual and loved it on the street. But now that I wanna have my fun on the track im goin auto. To slow to spool on the track without breaking things. Clutches and Beef manual trans just cost way to much to hold a 900hp 6000rpm launch on boost. LOL.

From what I have seen people have more succesfull track times through a Automatic. Driving a M6 sure is hell of fun on the streets though.

Many do go auto if it is a dedicated track car, but me as well LOVE my manual tranny on the street. Rowing gears FTW

Yes an auto will mostly go faster at the track but to say it doesn't work at all is ridiculous. Street car ftw. Lol

Stick/ turbo cars work just fine.
A guy just needs to decide if he wants to hold his purse while riding in an auto car, or put it down and drive it himself with a manual

Lol @ all these nice opinions. Performance at the track tells you what trans you need to get a lower ET. But if going slower with a manual trans helps you to feel more manly....congrats.

Lol, its just a big of joking guys lighten up.
Id just like to see guys STOP saying stick/turbo combos dont work, when the truth is that they work great. In fact they can spool faster, and run just as fast as an auto, they just require more effort.
