Default Oil feed with CBR block

twin BW S300 T4 turbos, Im using a CBR distribution block which has a -4 AN port for feeding my turbos (it actually has two ports but the other port is used for something else). Can I run a -4 T right off the CBR block and two -4 lines, one to each turbo? Or would the T pose too much of a restriction?

Cool. I just kept reading that if your going to use a T to feed two -4 feed lines you need a -6 feeding the T itself so I wanted to make sure this wont be an issue and starve the turbos.

God no, just make sure your drains are a nice gravity drain with no kinks. I ran a T with -4 and ended up having to run restrictors @ each turbo.

Sorry I didn't see this thread sooner.
You have the right idea, -6 from the block to the "T" and - 4 to your turbos.
This way you can keep the magnetic plug in the block to catch debris.

Thanks, I forgot you guys were a sponsor on here. That's why I wanted to use the T, so I could keep that magnetic block. Any ideas on how I can get a source for a oil pressure gauge off the block as well? Or is that just too much stuff going on for two ports?

Go to McMaster.com and type in this part# 50785K222 in the search box.
This part# is about $5.00.

Awesome thanks. Let me know if this sounds ok:

CBR block 1/4 npt outlet > 1/4 npt to - 6 AN male fitting > Y fitting with two - 4 AN ends > two - 4 AN lines to turbos

Is it OK to to run it like that or do I need a length of - 6 hose between the Y and the CBR block?

Whatever fits, doesn't matter where you put the Y in the mix.

Im sure Im over thinking this, but which option is better:

1. 1/4 NPT to -6 AN fitting on the CBR block > Y fitting with -6 AN to two -4 AN feed lines (directly off the CBR distribution block)

2. 1/4 NPT T fitting (directly off the block) with three 1/4 NPT outlets like the Mcaster piece > two -4 AN lines off the T

The only difference is the -6 AN fitting part, which I don't know is absolutely necessary.

Well ****. This CBR block isn't going to work on my GTO, or at least the supplied bolts wont work. On the GTO, the bolts used to mount the block off plate are long studs that also mount the galley lines inside the pan. The supplied CBR bolts are definitely not long enough, so I guess Ill have to figure something out.

And I cant just go buy longer bolts, they need to be studs so the nuts can clamp the galley lines in from the inside. And the studs need to have a means to turn them like a hex end etc.

That sucks

I may be interested in it if I can't find a different way to run mine.

Good luck!
