Default Few 5.3 with a S475 questions

Just finally found the truck iv been looking for about a year now. It's a 2003 single cab, short bed, 4wd, 5.3. My plans are to boost it using a S475 I have. It's a 75mm with a 1.32 ar. First question is what size stall should I need to get it to light from a dig? I will be using a stock cam for now until I can get a custom grind or a LS6 or LS9 cam. Second question is I plan to run about 12psi starting out, what size injectors should I need? Should I just buy big the first time the down tune? Thanks for the help and stay tuned for the build up!

I'd say a 3600 stall but w/ the 1.32 a/r its going to take awhile to spool. For street use id reccomend a tighter a/r. As for Injectors I'd say Seimens Deka 80 #ers

Custom stall from fti or ptc 3600-3800 if your sticking with the 1.32. Either company will set one up for you to help with spool time. Use 2.25 crossover pipe to the turbo. 80lb injector will be more than enough on regular fuel. If you don't have the turbo yet and plan on sticking with the 5.3 get a 1.10 ar for better street driving.

There is a 1.1 A/R available for that 96mm turbine. I'd call Jose at Forced inductions and get 1

What is the overall size comparison of the s475 beside the 68mm gt45 found on eBay?

You might consider a set of good valve springs.. Seems like I see alot of people floating valves with stock springs when they get up near 5k.

Not that I have anything againest any of the custom cam guys but you might also look at some used cams. I think there is a TU1 in the classifieds.
