Very nice build. That pan seemed to fit nice in the A-body.

This car isn't a good example for oil pan fitment. The enlarged trans hump, no heater box, and coils moved off the valve covers opened up a world of possibilities that most a-body swaps don't have.

Killer build! The fab work on the manifold's is very impressive. I'm very curious to see how the dual fuel system works out for you. I've pondered this same idea but am limited by running the factory pcm with EFILive, that Holley Dominator system is way outta my budget lol.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words. I'm just an average guy in his garage trying to build something cool. It's nice to see others get excited about it.

If you're starting your build from scratch, the Holley makes more sense. If you already have a harness, ecu, HPtuners or EFIlive, and a boost controller, then the cost of going to the Holley greater.

I've seen your videos. You got that thing working well. I would be ecstatic if I got numbers close to yours. Are you running a glide with a brake? I plan on driving this a lot on the street, so I wanted to use the 80. I'm not using a trans brake this year, but might add one later. That's going to hold me back a lot on the track.

Lol. It's a few years old, and it's what you would expect from HF. But It's getting the job done. It's lifted several engines in and out of several cars. I'm going to buy a nice one some day.

I saw that box 2 of 2 in the first picture hell my jack/stands/lift/engine stand/trans jack and hydraulic press are all HF and work great.

Thanks. I've been at it for a few years off and on as projects come up. I have good days and bad days and still consider myself a beginner. A basic knowledge and a lot of seat time is key.

Been a while since I've updated this. I've been burned out and on vacation for a week so things have been moving slower than I would like.

I ordered some stainless 3.5" mandrel bends to make the down pipes. Unfortunately I needed a much tighter radius on the drivers side to clear the brake master cylinder and steering shaft. So lots of pie cuts and lots of welding.

You can see how much tighter the radius is. Each cut is 7.5*, .25" on the narrow side and 1.25" on the big side.

The nice thing about taking this approach is you can make the bends change directions very easy and route the pipe exactly how you want it. In my opinion, It's easier than mandrel bends on this complex stuff.

The downfall is lots of welding.

Check the spring on those china gates! Those are my favorite to use due to size (and they share springs/diaphragm with the new tial MVS) and price but I have gotten several "8 and "10 psi gates that had 20psi of spring in them!! I always test them now before I install them just to be sure.

They are Tial 38 MVS's. But I will still check them.

I have 10# springs in them now, and 4# springs to add after the initial shake downs.
