Now i guess that my question is will you still have to keep the fuel level up in the tank? that bucket isn't going to hold any fuel now that it's cut open like that so doesn't it defeat the purpose? Mine wont be a daily driver so i dont really care that much but if it was then it would probably be a problem
Sorry I've been slammed the past few weeks rushing to get my car finished and have not had a chance to come in and update the thread. But the pumps and wiring are all working and id like to say they are fairly quiet.
Oh and if you're going with E85 I'd highly suggest you clean out the fuel tank itself with some E85 or another type of cleaner as I'm hearing more and more of people losing fuel pressure 500 so miles into their new setups because of all the gunk/grime that breaks lose when using E85. It clogs up the socks with a quickness apparently.

anyone wanting to do this.. don't.. it's a royal PITA. Bmx mentions the hardest part was getting the assembly into the tank... getting the pumps in the stock canister was equally as hard.
At this power level, sump it and external pump it.

What Jeff said pretty much. Ill see if I can dig up some pics on my laptop, I know I saved a few there. (windows 8.1 had a config issue which forced me to reformat everything including all the notes/pics I had taken).

I posted a question about this, and got no reply.....but what size is the outlet on the 450? Because the monday after the sema show, I got it second hand that aeromotive claimed that #6 outlets (As used on the stealth tank set up, was TOO small to flow the anout that the 450 can flow.
I thought the outlet might be about #6 on the 450.....but I dont have one in hand. If it is, I dont see how a #6 outlet would restrict the flow, unless the machining inside their stealth top isnt as large all the way thru.
Anyways, I agree on the hp numbers, maybe a tad more on a "perfect" feed system.....

-6 hose goes right over the nipple on it so I'd say it must be about a 3/8 nipple on it. Maybe someone who has one out of the car could measure it. I can imagine how one -6 wouldn't be enough for 2 pumps, but for a single pump I don't see the problem...
Mine both have -6 hoses on them merging to a -8 bulkhead and running all the way up to the fuel rails with -8.

damn good find on the fitting, that's identical to the one I have on my setup. Can't believe you found one, been looking high and low for another one for a buddy in the austin area for ages. Looks good!
Glad to see this thread is being used as some sort of reference. Makes all the hassle worth it TBH.
