Overpumping a stock bucket just runs it dry. This entire thread amounts to putting a bandaid on a bullet wound. People get away with this nonsense because most are 1/4 mile cars. Run high HP for any real amount of time and a lot of the fuel systems you read about prove to be inadequate.

I drive my car *1/4* mile car across town weekly with twin 450 pumps and have never had an issue. It the 10 other people just locally that have done it LOL

Years later and i still have the same setup and I DO NOT 1/4 or 1/8 my car. At Tx2k it goes from Baytown and can race to Katy just fine.

This was a great read with a lot of cool setups! My future build will be a blown forged 355 LT1 block with top end worked too. Looking to push over 500hp -600hp at the wheels. A single 450 with harness would be fine right? Not sure what size injectors maybe 60lb.. I read the 255 Walbro is good for 500hp or alittle over. With old motor and a crappy tune that ruined my setup my motor made 400hp which was not good for what I had done to it. Anyhow Only had 42lb injectors and had plenty of fuel.

necromacer at work again!!
I am curious how you wired the dual pumps to the hotwire? and did I read that right that you are using two hotwires or just using the one for both pumps?
I'm currently on racetronix 255 with a hotwire setup, and was looking into running a dual pump setup, and I like the simplicity you have here. do we need to change out the bulkhead connector?
