Would have been .30's if I had been able to cool car off and spray some water across the intercooler. There was also a 20-30 mph head wind. I think there is quite a bit more left in the car but we won't ever see it unless there is good $ on the line.

You continue to be an inspiration. I know may have rethought their turbo combos after watching what you have achieved.

Thanks man. Your car is bad ***! There was a lot of thought, blood, sweat, tears, and beers that went into this car and I just really like driving it vs racing.

you really do have it figured out and working to its potential. its damn hard to buy aftermarket parts when that kind of performance can be had with stock parts.

I know what you mean about driving. mine is running and driving like a stocker and its at 13 degrees timing and 10# boost and I just cant get over how strong it runs with total drivability . much stronger than my old 11 sec 406 with big stall and gears. and it is so much cooler to hookup the laptop and tweek the fuel and timing tables without opening the hood.

these lq4 turbo cars are cool.

Your car is so simple yet so bad ***, props to you on getting it done. Do you think going to the t6 1.32 turbine housing would pick up any et or mph or would it be detremental? I watched your youtube videos showing how fast the combo spools (its insane how fast it hits), could you keep the spool up similar with a t6 turbine? What on the combo would need to be changed if anything (cam, converter) to do so? You've got me rethinking my h/c/I build for a turbo set up based off your car. I'll be pm'ing you for setup details if that's ok.

Same here. I was going to go with a small turbine 80mm before learning about this car. Now its a cast wheel S476 with a 92mm turbine and one of his 218 cams in my 5.3.

Yea it kinda make me wonder if the stock rotating assembly will take the block until it's max and if it's even worth it to upgrade the internals. Lol
Driving is the best part and if I could I would get rid of the spool, and race seats for a locker and stock bench seat I just feel it would be a safety issue. Another thing I would like to add is a/c but just no room with the air to air I/C.

Yes a 96mm turbine 1.32 T6 would be worth 50-75 hp IMO but would not spool up on the foot brake, and work as well in high altitude as this setup. I do sacrifice max power and ET for driveability but Im able to spool this combo with a tight 10.5" converter that only flashes 2600 rpm before boost and it drives really really well.

Yes. It has strange 30 spline axles with c clip eliminators, a spool, and girdled cover.

Fantastically efficient and dialed in combo. What FMIC is that?

Treadstone intercooler.
Thanks. It's still got a little ways to go but hard with the cage only being 8.50 cert. About mid 8.40's is all they will allow and some tracks won't even allow that.

Congrats bitchin car! Im building a 71 with a lq4 but going n/a for right now just to get it back together to go do some burnouts but planning on boosting it later on down the road, your car is a inspiration to that and makes it difficult to not just boost it right now.

I noticed in one of your pics that your car has the tierods in front of the control arms, why and how did you convert from rear steer?

Thanks! To be honest car has plenty of power on the street out of boost even with the 3.23 gears and glide. Im really surprised at how it comes off the bottom. These 6.0's make a ton of tq for their size. Car already had a rack installed when I got it. It was originally for oil pan clearance for the NA BBC that my friend was going to run. To be honest Id rather it have the factory steering but not going to go thru the effort to change it.

Thanks! Was on pump E85 and meth was turned off. Was afraid it would run out being I could not fill the res between passes. Car was running at a lean 12.2:1 afr due to fuel pump being maxed out.

If I'm not mistaken, Jarret will be competing in Drag Week. Unless things have changed.
