Thanks guys! Correct class is limited to 8.50, as well as my cage. I have added a bit of weight to the car with bigger brakes, trailer hitch etc so 8.50's should be about right. Had planned on putting a hotter engine in the car but sold the new engine a few weeks ago so stocker is staying.

Drag Week? Awesome!

I'll keep an eye out for you on the live feed. I participated last year and its the single most fun car event I've ever done. Good luck.

Damn your in a heavy populated class. It'll be cool to met you in person though. I'll be in Super street Power adder in my turbo truck due to frame modifications. Bring plenty of parts and if your running E85 pre-plan fuel stations near the tracks.

Yea I have never been to that area and have no idea where Im going or where the fuel stations are going to be. Might switch over to gas for the driving. Not bringing any spare parts. I have almost zero $ and if car breaks Im done. Rear end is what worries me most and don't want to buy any spare axles and c clip eliminators for it because Im going to upgrade to a 12 bolt nxt yr.

They have single Isky drop in valve springs, and minor porting. Stock valves, retainers etc.

a lot of the guys are using FI now so they can switch tunes for E85 to race and pump gas for the drive, pretty cool

I thought about that but my Holley EFI wiggs out for awhile when switching fuels, and tunes. Even a 5% sway in ethanol content will start a bunch of surging, and stalling until it adjusts. I have another HP efi here for another project. Thought about swapping ECU's back and forth; but what a pia! I just worry about the E85 and getting a bad batch of it or not being able to find it at all.

I hear you! That's where I was last yr. I would have still given it a shot but was sold out. Hopefully I dnt break, or blow something up before! I put 200 miles and a few romps on car today in 100 deg heat.
