Default ATI vs. TurboTech Kit

Which one is better? I like the ATI because it is a BIG mainstream kit. And I like the TurboTech kit because well it is different. Which would be a better way to go?

i belive it all comes down to what you want as a power adder. how much power you want now, and how much you want to make in the future. i imagine both systems are upgradeable, so no problems there. if you put on the s-charger the basic system should be plug and play. the turbo system should be reletivley the same + maybe some tunning or turbo control devices. how would you want the power to hit you and how much? you can raise and lower the turbo psi, which i believe on the scharger you cant. well, not very easily. my vote would be an ATI. I believe the turbo is a fine kit. i would go twin turbo if i were going turbo. just my thoughts.

Who's doing the install and tuning? That can play a huge part in your decision. DIYers don't tend to have a lot of luck with turbo kits, where as the ATI kit is much more managable and tunable. Plus even if not tuned perfectly S/Cers tend to stay on the road.

600rw will be impossible i think on the base version of either system, you may want to plan ahead for that and get the larger head units.

I will be doing the install by my self with help of others. I am rather car savy so I will have the install down path. I plan on trailering to the car up to Ed Wright for Dyno tuning.

I will be purchasing a kit at the end of this month early next month. If you still have this kit I would LOVE to buy it. Does it come with injectors or no?

so ya the T60 cant support 600rwhp, but i think the T76 can

Turbo Tech has been around for YEARS with the Mustangs. I wouldn't hesitate a minute to get their kit. Their quality and craftsman ship is HIGHLY regarded on the Turbo Mustang boards so I see no reason for these aspects not to be carried over to their LS1 projects.

I have the T-76 street kit and I can say that the quality is very good. I didnt install so I cant help there. The only thing I might change would be to go to a FMIC. Also the T-76 kit comes with an upgraded Wastegate and maybe a different BOV but not sure about that. They also give you the option (If you got the extra scratch) for ceramic coated piping.

Yes the turbo can be upgraded, I have be quoted 1300 for a T-76 Q-trim Turbo Direct bolt on. The kit has some extras, I bought a 4"silicon 90* and had a Bushing made to fit over the Maf and other Silicon coupling with T-bolt clamps. on them. Comes with MBC and vaccum lines, Cold parts and alt reclocation bracket all powdercoated red. I have been useing 36# injectors for the kit but a have some MSD 50#'s u will need for the big turbo. Also sent u a PM for your E-Mail address Thanks Justin
