Have you looked much at the vehicle classified section on here? You can get a good gauge of what cars like this are being sold for. It's a clean car for sure, and the low miles is very attractive. One owner is also very attractive as well. I don't think the $14,900 price is outrageous, but I do think between $14,000 and $14,200 is more in line.

Simply NO because it only made 411 Rwhp.

A simple cam swap with full bolt-ons usually puts a LS1 around the 400 rwhp mark. I would expect a Procharged LS1 with bolt-ons to make well over 450 rwhp. It would help to know if it's a P1SC or D1SC. With those number, I assume it's a P1SC.

Sure, if it was done right and the tune is safe. Many stock bottom end Procharged cars on here making a lot of power and doing so safely.

Why not get a C5 if your looking to spend 15k on a 2000 chevy. 15k for a 15 year old camaro is ridiculous.

Thats why i sold mine. I think i regret it. I picked up a z28 that had been taken excellent care off but did need paint for $2500. Even with the turbo kit on it i would rather have my C5 back and just bought a pos daily.

Was it 411 on a Dynojet or Mustang dyno? It also could be a very safe tune meaning there isn't much timing in it.

Is it an auto or manual? I would offer them $2k over what they paid. If they don't like it, they can pound sand. A $2k profit on a used vehicle isn't bad at all. They are just being greedy.

A really good, multi-part question that you need to figure the answers for is: Why did this car end up at auction? I do a lot of work on used dealer cars and it is usually obvious why they ended up at auction.
That said, I would also make sure the internal condition of the engine is good. Compression test, check oil condition. If you're going to pay that much over normal retail, it should be top notch mechanically and cosmetically. Hire a professional to check it out, worth every dollar in this case.

Ding Ding Ding. Winner. Exactly. If it was my past car I wouldn't have any problems talking to you about it. Even if I didn't own it anymore.
