Yea something has to be up. A local guy is running a 76mm and is about 700 hp as well. He is running a 6.0 with a build 4l60e I think...might be an 80e tho.

If you were talking to me, I'm not sure. I'm not even sure if he has taken the truck to the track. He owns a mechanic shop and dyno and it is his shop truck so I imagine it doesn't get abused alot.

i like justin and i think the car is cool but if it makes 800+

650 blower + 250+ nitrous they claim to spray and it weighs ****, it must go like 170 in the 1/4 or at least 130 in the 8th

i have just seen way to many guys go oh denmah only makes 600, i have the same combo and i make 800 (talking about their car) well they trap 135 and i trap 140... in the same weight same combo...

for years i chased the hp numbers these guys claim, and broken motors and learned alot on my own.

but people always wildly throw around 700-900whp figures and seldom throw down a respectable mph in my opinoin. so i always leave the "well whats it trap" question in their posts.

excuse my rant lol

Amen Brotha

I always say that not matter what the dyno says the track will tell you if the dyno is telling the truth.

Cousin of mine has one installed in his truck with a stock bottom end 5.3 but he doesnt dyno the truck and hasnt taken it to the track due to his job being more than 11 hours away from home. Lol truck pulls pretty darn strong though.

With that forged 370 we should really see how much this new on3 78mm will put out.

I thought for some reason you posted somewhere that you guys were gonna order a billet s476 for the truck. I like this plan better ha.

probably 118 still sadly with the numbers i put down lol

i have the billet turbo, and the kb manifold now, so i will just swap them on, and see what it makes, if its still **** power there is something else wrong cam or trans or something is wrong.

i have a ls2 cam i could swap in and see if the power improves then or we will have to dive into other things, wich sucks,

but i get your joke haha

Man you got even more deflated #'s then me. All my buddies and I laugh at my car as everytime its been on the dyno they are way deflated based on trap times. At 480 whp it went 6.7@ 104 in the 1/8th then we upped the boost and went 6.3@110 and 9.86@140 and went back to the dyno and it was 580, lol.

I agree with denmah, I pay NO attention to a dyno number, people need to understand that its all relative and the dyno is just there for tuning, its a tuning tool.

Do you have a cam degree wheel laying around? My car was way down on power this year compared to last. Something odd with this gen4 motor. Used an adjustable timing set and dialed it in to the card. Picked up 12mph at the same boost. DOT to DOT on an OEM timing set it was basically 1 cam tooth retarded or 6.5*. This showed up in the compression test too. I was around 160-165 and jumped to almost 200 after. May be worth a quick check.

In for results on this new turbo.

I was at the track last Friday night but was battling serious problems so take results with a grain of salt. Turbo starts making boost a lot sooner then the GT45 did, I was able to build 5psi on the foot brake as where the GT45 I was lucky to get 1psi. I ended up letting out an both runs at about the 1000ft'ish mark and ran 11.8 101mph with a 1.9 60ft and 11.7 with a 2.0 60ft don't remember the last mph. I only made two run before I lost oil pressure due to rod bearing. Not the best update, I guess better then nothing though.

This was a 3600lb tank with a 5.3 with 862 heads and a tu1.5 cam runnign 14PSI boost
