Back in the 90's I was a big Mopar guy. I had a 360 with stock crank and rods
with forged pistons that ran 9.40's on pump gas with a 250 shot. I got tired begging those old Mopar guys for parts to fix my cars.

A 10.86 @ 126 isn't that impressive for a 700hp car, that has an 8-speed auto in it, run on drag radials.

Let's see what it does when it gets in the hands of owners before we 'apologize' for being haters.

I bet it's a year before we see another 10 second slip, at least from a stock one. I'm sure a tuner or two will put in a higher stall, turn up the boost, gut it, and get a 10.

NHRA Certified 10.8 on slicks is pretty damn good for how heavy it is. 11.2 on street tires is impressive.

I'd imagine they've stepped up their traction control.

Anyway you hate it or like it is king of the hill for now!
A 10sec car your wife can drive everyday and let it idle in the heat with the AC rocking
with a warranty. Mopar has been a ballzy like this for years. Mopar dominated NASCAR
and drag racing in the 60's and 70's with things like the Hemi, Super Bird, and Daytona Charger. in 1978 the Little Red Express quickest vehicle you could buy.
They where in first to put a V8 in a compact truck, the Shelby Dakota.
The V10 SRT Ram was a first, The only factory hot rod truck with a 6spd , How cool is that!
What I'm trying say is the guys at Mopar aren't scared to do what it takes to be on top.

They have the best looking late model retro of all. It looks more like the car it was modeled after than the Camaro or Mustang.

Bang for the buck I think the new 5.0 Mustangs are the best value.
When I go to the track for test and tune the staging lanes are full of 12sec bone stock Mustangs. A convertor, exhaust, tuner and tires and it's a 11 sec car.

Dodge might have done all that in the past, but for the recent history, it's GM that's been at the forefront of keeping the enthusiasts happy. Look at how many different performance variations there are with the camaro. LS3, supercharged, LS7, take your pick. Same thing with the corvette if your pockets are deep enough. Base, then the Z06, then the ZR1.

They've even put the v8's into other vehicles like the Trailblazer SS, and the SS sedan, so there are a lot of options if you want more power and performance.

But like you said, it's a win for everyone. I just find it funny how many leg humpers are oozing because of one commercial where it ran 10.86. I guess it's no different than the 'ring times people scream about with the GTR and corvette etc.

You're just pissy that a Hellcat with pulley, exhaust and tune will likely run what your heavily modded F-body does.
If dumbass Richard can get 10.80's out of one on DR's imagine what a real driver will get out of one.

Still, new ****, give me an LS motor. Old stuff, GM didn't have anything that came close to the cars Chrysler put out.
