Default TO turbo OR to SC, that is the question...

So I'm getting ready to build a nice little LQ9 6.0 stroker or leaving it OEM 6.0 (377 ci).

OEM 6.0 is 364"
OEM 6.2 is 376.xx"
And Turbo or SC depends on your wallet, your space, and what your goals REALLY are.

Seriously, people don't mean to be rude, but this topic has been beaten to death for a long long time.

Do some reading, then post some specific questions. Try to drive a version of each or get a ride in both to see what you like or want.

If you frequent the forums regularly it does get REALLY REALLY old. The thread he is talking about couldn't be more than a couple pages back. I understand his frustration but I tend to try to be more tactful than whats really going on in my head. :-p

It's a really good thread too.

People don't intend to come off as harsh or ******, but this specific topic is one that really boils down to what your preference is because each option has it's strengths and weaknesses.

Which one is best FOR YOU depends on a multitude of factors including your fabrication experience or comfort level, what your intentions are with the car, how well you do with troubleshooting problems, how much you are willing to spend, how much down time you are willing to live with, what sounds "better" to you and the list goes on and on, and for each one of those items, one system might be a better choice than the other.

That is why I said to read up, and then ask a specific question or questions with regards to it.

It's no different than walking into Best Buy and saying what's better, iPhone or Droid?
Mac vs PC
Burger King vs McDonalds
Chocolate vs Vanilla
buy vs lease

Get my point? It's not a straightforward answer, and it's never going to be the same for the same person over time.
