Default 2004 GTO turbo install!!

Just a car I did for a friends son! All is stock, added a 70mm turbo, without losing AC, and fans. So all the stock parts on the car. Relocated the ALt. First ordered a kit that supposed to work with the AC, but it didn't fit for hell. I just cut it up, and used what I needed from the kit. Here are some pics. Had trouble finding a coolant jug so found one in pullapart out the import section, and the jug is a PS jug is the same exact jug that came on the GTO!

When you say coolant jug....

I assume you're using this purely as the non pressurised overflow bottle ?

Because in no way is it suitable for running within the main pressurised system

That is the car as it was being done, I have it a lot cleaner. As far as the jug it seem to be doing ok, If it hold PS pressure should be good, but Im open for any ideas, or input.

PAS reservoir is never under pressure. It is simply a reservoir for the pump to draw from.

The only area under pressure is between the pump and rack itself, and this is very very high pressure.

Thanks can you suggest one that may fit there?

I'm not familiar with what you might have available in the US.

But on a budget it's just a case of hunting down one from another vehicle. Ebay is usually a good place to search.

If it's just an overflow bottle outside of the pressurised system, then the PAS one you have would be fine.

But if it's a reservoir integral to the pressurised system, then it needs to be suitable for that task.

Some cars use none ( any airspace/fill point would be via the radiator itself ), some use one, some use both types.
