Maybe more chance of an answer on the Aussie forums ?
No commodores or equivalent vehicle in the US.
What or who made the base kit ? GT30's are fairly small. Some places will do bigger turbos in a small package, but the T3 flange might be limit options.

As far as an answer, I unfortunately do not know for sure. I'm running T4 housings with 60/65 wheels. Maybe someone on G8board.com/and similar may have more info.
Here are a couple bad pics of mine, could possibly find others:

If you're already on a T4 flange, that's half the battle.
I'm sure you'll be able to get a lot of airflow. Do you know exact details on the 6065 ?
Even in a small frame T4, the likes of Precision and I'm sure other brands can go up to a 6766 and still retain a tiny 3"/2" compressor cover if that's the inlet/discharge sizes you're using ?
Anything larger and I think it requires at least a 4"/2.5" compressor cover, maybe even 4"/3"
