Default MAP placement question

Does anyone see an issue with running the MAP sensor off a vaccum distribution block rather than the manifold? It would be easier if I could plug the factory port on the manifold and run a remote location.

Update. I had the Holley "learning" with the map sensor in the factory location (just behind TB) I moved it to a vacuum block using the big nipple in the rear of the manifold and it ran like crap. The car had to completely re learn due to the change in signal. It's not really relevant as I'm sure you could just leave it in one spot and be done but there is a definite difference in readings from one spot to the next. This might be something that someone wants to consider when choosing MAP location on Their build.

The biggest difference was In low RPM throttle response which coincides with me moving the sensor to the rear of the intake as appears to the front.

So keep as close to the intake as possible?

It was the only change I made so I'm assuming yes. I'm going to move the MAP sensor back to just behind the TB and try again tomorrow.

Default Remote Mount For LS Style MAP

I had these made up to remote mount the LS MAP Sensors.

As already mentioned definitely no issues at all running it off a different source.
