Default lq4 possible turbo

Im swapping a LQ4 into my ol shortbed and ive been thinking id probably go turbo to get to my goal of 700-800hp. So heres my build list so far (havent bought anything yet). Just a build list before I spend a bunch of money I dont need too:
Lq4 with arp rod bolts and head studs and a good quality turbo cam
L92 heads with rocker arm upgrade and matching valve springs for cam
Holley oil pan
Hollet hi ram efi intake
Prolly use shorty heads or stock manifolds flipped to face the front of engine
S475 or s480.
Not sure how big of a turbo I need! I want to be able to spool it and build boost pretty easy if im racing but I dont want it spoolin all the time ln the street either. I figure ill turn the lq4 around 7000rpm so if the turbo spools right at 2800-3000rpm thatd be perfect

No need for rod bolts, get someone like Tick or Brian tooley for a cam. Either of those turbos will be fine getting them in a t4 will help with spool but I don't see you having much lag with a 6.0 and a good cam..also look into ebay head studs very good luck with them personally and on this site and for only$80

Has anyone used the holley hi ram? Whats the rpm range? I looked at a fast lsxr but they want almost a grand for them and the hi ram is only like 700 bucks

The High Ram is a great intake. Used with the right camshaft it will make more power than a Fast intake any day of the week.

A 6.0 will have no issue spooling a S475 quickly. Full boost should come in around 3600-4000rpm with a stalled automatic.

What rpm should I want my turbo to spool? I wanna race this truck but I still wanna be able to cruise on the highway without it spooling.
