5.3 Turbo build

I'm building a 5.3 turbo want to keep it budget minded for now was curious what cam and where do I get it. Springs also. What turbo do you guys recommend? I'm shooting for 500whp and would like to have drivability as well will be going with a built 4l80 this is going in a 78 c-10 thanks any input is appreciated. Open to tips and ideas as this will be my first build ls

On3 78 turbo will get it done. You can run a LS6 cam with ls6 springs or just get some Brian Tooley springs.

Rod bolts too. You won't need them at 500whp, but you're gonna turn it up at some point and there not expensive. While you in there go ahead and gap the rings. Just to play it safe.

You dont need rod bolts or gapped rings. On3 turbo with a homemade flipped manifold hotside and an ebay intercooler kit will get it done on the cheap.
