4.8/5,3 and a t50 Hello everyone.
Ive done a few searches with no results. It seems there is some great info here so I figured I would throw this up for discussion.
I have a little shop truck that I want to goof around with. The thought is a 4.8/5.3 4l80e swap. Throw a little cam in it, maybe some valve springs, some ARP bolts and blah blah. I also have a few old petes and kenworths I restore so on the shelf is a brand new cummins T50. Measures 75mm on the compressor side and 86ishMM on the turbine. Im sure its not the perfect set up but its here and free. Will it make power and what might it be capable of?
