Default Does this look like excessive smoke from crank case? **vid inside**

Had the engine in for two years before putting the turbo on. Now after the turbo is installed I'm getting what I think is excessive smoke from the crank case.
Things to consider
4.030 BORE .026 TOP .028 BOTTOM
MIGHT Mouse catch can pulling from each valve cover and vacuum line going to air filter on turbo.
Never even started till it was taken to the tuner.

Id be doing a compression test after seeing that.

So the car has been tuned with boost now?

Sure your catch can hooked up correctly? I have my vacuum line going to the intake. Fresh air line going to filter

I'd say it probably is excessive...

That said, Mine's been similar for the last 2-3 years, compression is fine.

But I do expect to find something when I do eventually pull it apart...I just cant be arsed taking it apart when it runs fine lol.

Does it fill up quick? What happens if you disconnect the line to the turbo?

Mine does that out of the breather. I have two -12 AN hoses from my valve covers to the catch can.

My car made 1000rwhp with no issues.

Mine does that every time I break ring lands. At least it isn't super hard to replace pistons, just get a few backups and some new rings and throw them in. And back off the timing!

Change the plugs. Make sure you don't have any burns on your plug wires.

A little steam out the catch can breather is ok at idle. Weird that the catch can breather is not steaming and the dipstick tube is.

Do you burn any oil out the exhaust? Do you have any crank case evacuation at all?

No I don't burn oil out the exhaust that I'm aware of. And yes I have a mighty mouse catch can with the vacuum line to catch can going to intake port and a line from each valve cover going to catch can and the second farthest back port on passenger side valve cover is fresh air source.

I'd ditch that set up and get a couple of -12 breathers on the covers to a large catch can. I had a similar issue where the crank case pressure was actually pushing oil past the seals on the driver side turbo. Went to -8 breathers and it got better, went to -12 and it totally went away. On start up I get a little bit of smoke out the breather filters once it warms up to operating temp its completely gone.

do you have video since you got the can connected right?

could you post a pic of where the top port is mounted on the intake manifold?

the vacuum assist from the pcv can only help draw off some of the pressure being created.

i believe i had you check the valve in the breather to verify it was not stuck correct?

and you have no lines to the can clogged or pinched?

Can I revive this old thread. Did op ever solve problem? I have the same issue. Running the Mighty Mouse catch can wild as well. Catch can isn’t catching any oil at all. Only water. Compression is fine. Followed the diagram that was sent with catch can.

you just might not be blowing much oil. if there is condensed water vapor, then it's working.

There is way more blow by than op video. Almost as much as the time I melted a piston and broke a ring land on another.
