I got fic 2000 injectors already... Cam is a turbo spec 623 -617 lift 116 lob sep

I spent money on fuel system got two weldons one runs on street both run at track

I have a truck intake but the look of it is horrible

The tb ls2 intakes are set up for the pico inj so if that fits stock 5.3 heads with no issues i think thats what i should do then no adapters for inj will be needed

Don't be afraid of the truck intake. They're friendlier once you get to know them.

Any pics inside one ?

Do the runners go underneath with the plenum on top ?

Almost reverse of the car intakes ?

They really do look terrible though lol

It is fun to pop the hood after going 8.9 seconds in the quarter and saying to tech inspector "Yep, bought that truck intake on the eBay for $45"

Proflo would be great, just a pity the plenum is so small.

It really has nowhere near the volume it should for the engines it gets bolted to.

But it is superb value and does look great

Even Edelbrock says it's beneficial to add plenum after the throttle body.

I put my truck intake in the recycle bin......

I'm thinking a guy could make some bucks if he created a cool looking cover for it.

When I see this article, and this picture of a Fast truck intake....if it wasnt for the multi piece construction...those runners and large plenum volume do look superb.
Are normal truck intakes anything like that inside ?

Wonder how easy it would be to fabricate a different lid for one ?

They aren't near as long, but the runners do look similar on the gen 4 intakes.

Heres a cut away shot...

And after porting and clean up.

Peak speed shop ports them for $425. And claims around a 15ftlb increase in power at the wheels over stock if paired with a big cam and exhaust on the 6.2's.

I just be worried about them staying together after taken apart....
