Precision Metalcraft sheet-metal intake because it fits under the factory cowl with no modifications, it looks killer, and the customer service is best service I have ever received from any aftermarket company period!

Stock ls6 because it's proven and the money for the others can be spent elsewhere

I'd use the victor junior but not the low profile elbow. Would use the Aaron 90 -elbow. I've found good distribution on them.

The ls6 or ls2 will do.

If I was to select heads and intake will be Texas Speed ls3 small bore heads and ls3 intake on the 5.3 for boost.

Tween 76 turbos on a 5.3 seems way large imo I say a single 78 mm will rock, or two 59s.

Ok well I did rods and pistons so not really a 400 dollar 5.3

I didn't do any head work except springs... Looking for 1000-1200 wheel hp

Can I use a ls2 with cathedral port heads?

Also I have pico style injectors

Depends on the cam and where you want the power to be made. The cheapest one that fits and meets your power goal is always my answer. Any of those could make 1000-1200hp. Stock truck intake would also would do it.

That stock truck intake has gone 8's

I would save all your pennies for parts like better injectors, better fuel pump(s), suspension, trans, etc.

A buddy switched from the truck intake to the ProFlow. Gained 25 hp.
I guess it depends on whether you want to chase every last pony.
I chose the ProFlow based on looks. I also tootsie rolled the runners because they were pretty rough.

Don, can you fit this under the factory setup or will there be some trimming needed?

Yes, I have 862 heads on my 4.8 that have been worked, and a LS2 bolted to them.

Compared to car manifolds, does the truck intake have same sized plenum ? larger/smaller ?

What about runner length ?
