Another thing you will definitely need is the race bypass valve that mounts to the aftercooler. At first I stayed with the G-trim one but the car would surge bad when you let off the gas. RMCR upgrades this by welding a new fitting on the tube before the blower and supplying a polished aluminum tube with 2 blue silcone tubes for either end between the valve and the intake tube.

One more thing to look at is the aftercooler reservoir. There was a guy at the TA Nationals last year that used what I think was a Mustang reservoir that is way bigger and has a large filler opening that he used to fill it with ice. He might have relocated the battery because it was in that area. I would ask about this too.

i have an aftermarket blow off valve, it doesn't go pshhhhh like the ricer's, i kinda like it like that though.

vortech makes the reservoir for the mustangs its on their website, definitely the way to go if you are a hardcore drag racer and want to fill up with ice on every run.

my buddy is considering it on his race car. his battery is already in the *** end.

Jeff you need an aftermarket blowoff valve for your brain. You better get some Nittos for the street, that would not have been good taking out two nice Camaros.

My friend Chris @ SS Racing can make a T Trim bracket for like half of the price of RMCR, and from nicer steel stock. I will find contact info for both and you can compare.

Ok,
I was wondering something, how much is the bracket going to cost roudabout?

The T-trim is like 2500, so the bracket is going to be another what 1000?
thats seems kinda high to me
thanks guys

I think a spring tensioned D1 versus the T trim would be a good match up. Sounds like the perfect thing for an LS1Tech Shootout. I can take time outta my turbo stompin day to pick on a few vortechs

Hey John I talked to Mark at RMCR and he quoted me $1000 for the bracket, a larger BOV ,and a reducing diamiter pipe from the 2 3/4 SC to the 2 1/2 aftercooler. I also told him I know someone here in Orlando that would sell me the Ttrim + system at wholesale and he basically matched that price + the cost of his stuff. I did call SS and got Chris`s brother but did`nt get a chance to call back yet.
