Which A/C bracket for 69 Camaro and LQ4?
Which A/C bracket for 69 Camaro and LQ4? Just curious about suggestions on which A/C compressor bracket and configuration everybody is using with their turbo setup. I got the Quick top mount bracket from vintage air and the problem is the stock exhaust manifold or the shorty header when it is mounted upside down will not clear the compressor. I can run the drivers side header facing down and forward on the passenger side and it would clear running below the compressor. Problem is running the passenger side manifold facing forward on the drivers side it won't clear the power steering pump. Any suggestions and installation pics would be appreciated .
There are so many variables to your scenario. I ran a drivers side manifold on the drivers side up and forward. I am working on a bracket to adapt to the truck bracket to convert to a type II PSP that will tuck up away from the crossmember so one could run a manifold down and forward on both sides.
