Take the cover off the turbo.... Using a small punch and a hammer... knock those 3 locator pins in till it clears the inner lip of the housing...it usually falls right out.... but you know how that goes. It might take some prying or tapping with a hammer and punch from the backside.

Next question is will i be able to upgrade to a FI 84mm comp wheel and still use this housing ?

yes but it will have to be returned to FI to be machined to fit the new housing.

Does FI only machine the compressor housing when building an S484?

I tried taking the roll pins out of my housing today to remove the inlet bell. Couldn't get them to budge. I don't think I have the right tools to do it. I just keep boogering up the bore the bore the pin sits in and if I use a small punch, it just expands the roll pin out toward the bore and won't move. SMH


Edit: Got it done. I used an 1/8" carbide bit and drilled the pins out. Popped the inlet bell out and now I sound like a jet engine.
