Default What Stall?

Hey guys,
I one of the good ol faithful LT1 guys and I was just wanting you guys input. I have a 4L80E being built for my setup now. Just by reading the post in this section I come up with the assumption that a stall around the 3700-3900rpm range. What do you guys think? Some specs are in my sig and I have 3.42 gears.

Let me know, or give me some tips on how to calculate what my own stall should be.

I would call some of the well known builders and see what they think.

I run a Yank 3400 on a glide. Setup is about 900rwhp on kill. On the footbrake it makes 5-6psi easy 3000ish rpm. I am very happy with it.

I have a pro yank 3400 for my 4l80e and like it. I make about 12psi on the tbrake/2step.

It all depends on your definition of stall. By my definition of stall, I wouldn't run a converter without atleast 4200 rpm stall on transbrake and a 4.6-4.8K flash by around 10 psi, if it's going to see any kind of significant track time.. That would be for something that I plan on shifting real early (by 6200 RPM).
