Question Turbo lt1 wont go above 3k under wot

So i have been dealing with this problem for a very long time now, i might take it to a shop to try and have them figure it out. But for a last resort i figured i would post here.

Below is a video of what the car is doing. (its a video to my tuner so sorry if the words dont make sense, it was meant for a specific person).

Anyway the car holds at 3k rpm under wot and will slowly slowly creep above that. Things I have done so far to try and fix this.

Rebuilt trans, new vig 3600 stall
crane gold rocker arms and duel springs Patriots
knock sensor delete
torque management has all values to 0 (or something like that)

Has boost/fuel and the spark plugs are new. Car ran great for about a week after i got it tuned, than for no reason it just stopped working, no boom no noise, i just turned it one day and it didnt want to get out of its own way. car made 430-440 on a dyno on 8-10lbs of boost.

No codes? Have you checked your map sensor? Check grounds too, My friends lt1 car had some bad grounds and couldn't get out of its own way.

I always used delphi and pulled them apart to loctite the rotor after i had a rotor screw come loose on me and cause issues.

Would an opti retard timing only under boost? it will pull all the way up in the rpm but as soon as i give it enough throttle to hit boost the car feels like all the timing is pulled from it

Mine did something really similar to what yours is doing when I had the turboLt1 and it was my main ground since I have a battery relocation, clean up the grounds anyways and reconnect maybe clean the area of contact with some sandpaper, also I had msd wires and had to wrap them so they wouldn't burn against the pipes, and you said you have knock sensor delete right? I just had mine desensitized on the tune and that also helped a lot when I had the issue I couldn't go over 4k

Have you verified the turbo is still free spinning?

I had something very similar although it was on an LS not an LT.

It was a cheap silicone elbow that would collapse under high vacuum condition.

Flooring the car would cause the elbow to collapse and it would just hit a wall at about 3200 RPM. It wouldn't build boost and would just fall on its face and sit there doing nothing.

Not saying this is what you are experience but just something to check.

Guys thanks for the input! i am building boost, it goes to 6-8lbs and holds just fine. I am gonna reconnect and clean each ground, sounds like thats my best shot at the moment!

Yes it will free rev. its only in boost will it not go up past that. But the plugs are tr6's that were gapped to .30 (i think) but then my tuner suggested we go tighter just incase and i think he redid them to .25. Either way they are tight for 6-8lbs of boost

I just redid all the grounds. I even made a separate ground for my 6al box and for the ground strap off the front of the engine. I also added 2 more ground straps to the motor and grounded them to the chassis. Still nothing
