That is the hose that goes from the back of the intake manifold to the brake booster? It looks kinda small in the picture.

Yes, sorry I just took a close-up of it. Any input on the setup?

That is basically the same set up I have. I would try to change out the spring in the bov.

I just spoke with Steve at TIAL and he specified that they recommend a vacuum line no longer then 24" which would be impossible with my setup. He was not to familiar with the LS1 but also recommended for it to have its own vacuum source. I have the BOV mounted right before the intercooler inlet. Is the capped line on the TB (pictured) a vacuum source? Can I use it for the BOV? Thanks

Anybody? I am stopped dead in my tracks and cannot go any further until I get some kind of answer. Beside the brake booster line, where are people running the vacuum line for their Blow Off Valves? I cannot find anything online and I do not think its an invalid question? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the clarification JAX04. I am not a mechanic and have never touched an LS1 motor before but need the vacuum line to be as short as possible to solve my issue. The TIAL tech said 24" max length for the vac line but I cannot do that with the mounting location of my BOV. It seems that I am the only one with this problem so I will check the TB line and see if it is vacuum and cross my fingers that it is. Again, thanks for the final word.

I tapped the line coming off of the intake manifold that goes to the pcv valve and it works perfectly. My tial is located on the passenger side in front of the a/c condensor.
